Information on financial support for doctoral students

Thanks to the support of the Swiss National Science Foundation, we can support a limited number of doctoral students presenting a contribution at the conference (travel and accommodation). Doctoral students interested in this support can submit a short application (starting point of travel, university affiliation, existing financial support) at ethnography2024@phzh.ch by Thursday, 29 February 2024. The organization committee will select among the applicants based on the peer reviews of the submitted abstracts.

Information on pre-booked hotel rooms
In addition, we have pre-booked a limited number of rooms in hotels that are reasonably priced (by Zurich standards). These are given to people who are dependent on discounted accommodation. This offer also applies to participants who attend the conference without their own contribution. Anyone interested in such a room can make a note of this in the registration form. There are currently still rooms available.
To take advantage of this offer, please register for the conference by 30 April 2024. After this date we will no longer be able to allocate pre-booked hotel rooms.
